This was a different read for me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Crazy to think that these things really happen.

This was my first book by David Bell and I absolutely loved everything about it. I loved the mystery, suspense, and the heartache of each character. Most of all I loved that you were following this story from the fathers perspective. #cemeterygirl #davidbell #afathersperspective #quickread #pageturner #bookworm
My October read while camping...carving pumpkins later!! October is my favorite!!!🧡
A twelve year old girl goes missing and reappears four years later but refuses to talk about it. This book was interesting for the most part but the father did not seem believable. He did and thought things that were more disturbing than I care to think about.
My evening plans.
😂😂😂. So true!!
Enjoying this book. It has gone in a different direction than I thought but a familiar one. I am a student of crime shows after all.
I really like David Bell‘s books. This one did not go the direction that I expected, but I guess it was a little more realistic because of that. A quick page turner!
My second David Bell book-I‘ll be honest: I picked this one up because of the father-daughter storyline. I LOVE Bell‘s attention to family relationships. They‘re so complicated sometimes! All of the characters here are very hard to love-in fact, they‘re unlikeable. Still, I think Bell did a great job showing what may happen if a child is missing for years and then returns. The complications of re-bonding and the desperation of the father are 💯.
Overall, I liked it. There was a little bit of a lull at one point, and I was hoping for a gasp-worthy twist; but at the same time there were times I did not want to stop reading because I was so anxious to see what was going to happen. A Pick from me!
This was my first David Bell and it was definitely gripping right from the start and I read it quickly. The story of a missing 12 year old girl that takes place 4 years later and is told from the perspective of her father. When the girl is picked up on the side of the road one night, her parents have several reactions, some of which are unexpected even to them. Sort of a pat ending but worth the ride.
This book had me feeling all kinds of things.

I REALLY liked this book! It was the father's perspective on his missing daughter's absence & reappearance - not something you normally see. I'm a fan now, and can't wait to read more by David Bell.
Great mystery writer. I enjoyed this quick read! I liked it so much, I bought all of his other novels!!
