I should have know that this book was not so much as getting to Treasure Island, but being there. I was interested in a swashbuckling trip on the high seas but, they really aren‘t on the ship much 😂 I might have liked it more if I would have realized that first! Anyone else do that with books?

Going to try to do some audioscrapbooking today, amidst my chores. These Audible originals are amazing.

Shiver me timbers! I've been saving this book for Fiji, and here I now am and what better place to read Treasure Island than on a island in the Pacific.

Stew started to read this to the kids today in prep for our trip to Samoa in Oct. He reads classics to them most nights at bed time. Other recent ones include The Hobbit & Wind in the Willows. I sat in the other end of the hammock drinking a glass of white. Sunday bliss. Linnéa is on the left. She had her first crochet lesson yesterday & is a tad obsessed. Matilda ,on the right, was over it after an hr. So glad the days are starting to warm up.
