pickGabriel Allon is selected to find a young woman kidnapped because she is having an affair with the Prime Minister. When she‘s murdered, he looks deeper into it.
Slow going because I read at night and immediately am lulled to sleep. Anyone else have that problem?
This was one of the best of the Gabriel Allon series for me thus far.
pickAnother great edition to the series 👍🏻 some good twists and turns and big life changing stuff at the end. Look forward to following them up in the next one.
Train reading. Hardly done any reading last couple of days because so busy, stressed and tired!

In February I read 2 nonfiction books about chemistry for my work, The English Girl and started Marley and Me. I started listening to audiobook Black Lies. The best book was #TheEnglishGirl. I read #croatianedition for #LMPBC It was a great and suspense spy thriller and I enjoyed the adventure with Gabriel.

pickThe doors on this picture were pretty rattled in this book. This was an amazing and captivating page turner! Full of suspense and plot twists. Liked every page of it. The whole Gabriel Allon series is on my TBR list for a very long time, and after reading this I hope I'll manage to read it very soon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
pick3.5 ⭐️ There were some great moments, and of course I love the recurring characters, but this entry in the series was surprisingly predictable, which made me sad. Still a pick because the writing is great and again, the characters are wonderful, but I hate being able to put the pieces together so clearly, so quickly. Getting a head start on the #slaythatseriesreadathon, since I know I won't be able to start/finish anything else today. This is #13 in the series and #17 comes out next Tuesday. I own them all, I'm just a little behind. Time to close the gap (and knock a couple books off Mount TBR!).
