I really enjoyed this. Such a fun historical fiction read.

I‘ve been trying to get outside and read this book in my favorite spot, but I‘ve been a little distracted! My daughter and her boyfriend got engaged over the weekend. 🥰🥰
I just realized that I forgot to share a photo for the #LitsyBitsy challenge. My pup wanted to stay close to home due to the heat and just roll around in the grass by Town Hall. I loaded up the tagged audiobook and let him chill out. I found #2 #rainbowcolors in the form of a Pride Flag.

3.5 ? but still a pick. This book was a bit of mystery, a little romance, and part coming-of-age story. Inspired by the ghost of California's Hotel del Coronado, this follows phantom Kate Morgan beginning in 1892 and a young woman, also a Kate Morgan, leaving her home at her granddad's urging her to find "the beautiful stranger" in 1958. A slow, meandering glimpse at their lives & their connection. Some Hollywood star cameos pop up, too. ⬇️

I started reading this book and then realized that its setting was Coronado Island in San Diego...same location I was headed to for spring break vacation! ❤️😮 I thoroughly enjoyed the dual story line of the beautiful strangers and was drawn in right away, but it was even better to then see Hotel Del Coronado in person! Definitely recommend a trip to Coronado while you‘re reading this one 😉
Happy Pub Day!!

THE BEAUTIFUL STRANGERS has everything historical fiction fans, movie buffs, California fans, and a wonderful story line wish for.
DO NOT MISS reading this book. It is heartwarming, amazing, and an all-around gem.
Set at the historic Hotel Del Coronado. A ghost. A star-struck young girl working in the kitchen of the Hotel Del. Is it a coincidence that she has the same name as the ghost?
I was hooked as soon as I read that the two protagonists shared the same name. I knew there had to be a connection, but what was it?

FULL REVIEW ON MARCH 5.
Kate Morgan didn‘t want to spend her entire life frying fish in her family‘s restaurant so with her grandfather‘s insistence, she sold her grandmother‘s ring, took the money, and went to the Hotel Del Coronado.
When Kate arrived she is told there is a ghost that lived at Hotel Del Coronado in 1892 with the exact same name.
DO NOT MISS reading this book. It is heartwarming, amazing, and an all-around gem. 5/5
