This one was a solid mystery but I didn‘t like how the child with a learning delay was portrayed as the obvious murderer. Or the use of the r-word. Christie is so good but also solidly problematic. I did like that the #audio version was a radio play. #BookspinBingo #JoyousJanuary @TheAromaofBooks @Andrew65

So - the book itself was good even if I figured out the ending, and it was a nice light read. I‘m just so happy because I finished it - this marks the 50th book I read this year, which was my yearly goal! I was in such a depression for most of last year that I just couldn‘t pick up a book. I didn‘t hit the 50 I wanted to; I don‘t think I made it to 30. I‘m in such a better place now, and I‘m so glad I‘ve come so far!

Aims42 Congratulations on your reading milestone!! 🥳🤩👏 2y

This was originally written as a play. It makes an interesting short novel. I didn‘t figure it all out until the end. Perfect read if you need a short hit of mystery in your life but don‘t want to commit to a longer novel.

Hooray, I finally found a mystery I didn't solve in the first quarter of the book! I didn't solve it at all. The twist was actually a twist. My mom says she's never seen anyone so happy to be "not as smart as they thought they were." Maybe it's strange but it doesn't matter, I'm happy!

This #FiveStack is some of the most valuable books I own as they were all gifts. The Circus Collection book and Little Women are really special to me as one was my mom's childhood copy and the other was my mom's favourite childhood book and she found it on Amazon after a lot of searching.

Leftcoastzen It‘s so nice to have a collection tied to good family memories. 6y

Originally a play, the end of this story blowed my mind! I was expecting everything, but this. Agatha keeps on surprising me 👑 🇮🇪

This is a play by Agatha Christie that was adapted to a novel. It's short, at just under 200 pages, and a very quick read. The setting is very descriptive, as are the movements of the characters, so the reader almost feels as if they are watching actors on stage. I really enjoyed this read.

I lived in Oak Park about 200 ft from this bookstore during my last month in Chicago. The staff started recognizing me pretty quickly. #getindie
