Love audio while driving!

I like what Connelly tries to do here, showing how bad actors might take advantage of a chaotic time, and I like that he takes the story into the Central Valley, which is a part of California many people don't think of when they think of the state, even though so much of the country's food comes from there, but the story itself feels a little weak.

Really enjoying Harry at the mo great easy crime reads this one I give 7/10

1992: In the midst of the LA Riots, Bosch is called to the murder crime scene of a Danish journalist. But with more crimes rolling in than the LAPD can handle, he's quickly pulled off the case and sent elsewhere.

2012: Twenty years later, Bosch has an opportunity to revisit the cold case when a hit comes back - another crime, same weapon. And that one small link leads Bosch down a windy path to the truth.

No surprise here - it's good!

I‘ve been trying to draw the Bosch series out, but I listened to the first chapter in the last installment & had to keep going! Though the newscastery new narrator takes a little getting used to, this is another well-plotted & exciting addition to the series! Bosch takes a look back at a murder that he was one of the first on the scene to 20 years earlier during the Rodney King riots. This connection made this 2012 book feel timely! #AudioColoring

Harry Bosch gets assigned the cold case of a reporter killed during the LA riots. The murder looks more like a hit than street violence. As often is the case, Harry almost loses his job through the proceedings.

Was a slower starter but ended up really enjoying this one when I didn't think I would 😊
Harry just kicks ass, I love him 🖤 I don't think you could read a Harry Bosch book and not think he is just fab!

I have some California love for Michael Connolly books and especially Bosch 💜

Taking a break from a recent run of non-fiction, and enjoying this instalment in the excellent Harry Bosch series.

My husband really doesn't enjoy reading that much (sigh), but he is really into the #HarryBosch series by Michael Connelly and he just got this one to add to his collection. It makes me so happy when he finds books he likes 😊😘📚

First read for #litsyAtoZ down with #LetterB. Harry Bosch investigating a killing that happened during the LA riots 20 years ago. Of course, like a dog, Harry catches the scent and tracks down the killer. The usual but sometimes that's like a comforting blanket.

Can Harry solve a 20 year old murder? Of course he can.

Breakfast with Harry. It's not Du-Par's but it will work.

Next up- another Harry Bosch.
