pickThis book was phenomenal! I can't get over the amount of plot twists there were in this sequel, I loved the eerie atmosphere and the entire mystery. I loved how we can't rely on Mara's POV because she herself doesn't know what's going on. I absolutely am in love with Noah Shaw, the romance was perfect. The plot was so hauntingly beautiful and that ending has destroyed me, I need the next book like right now, I'm absolutely obsessed with this world

pickBack in 2012 when book 1 in this series came out, I decided I had to wait for the rest of the series because of the batshit cliffhanger ending. I bought them, never got back to it. This is the year to tackle my #seriesread though!
Very glad I came back to this mind-bending creepy series. I still don‘t know what‘s ‘really‘ going on (is it paranormal or real-life baddies?) but I am invested again. This one also ended on a cliff so on to bk 3...
pickThis second book of the trilogy really seemed to up the creepy factor. I finished this ebook at work today. Immediately started book 3. I don't know exactly what is going on but really want to find out!

pickVery good. Very twisty and exciting. I didn't expect the majority of the turns that were made, though I was surprised that it was such a quick read despite how long it is. (It's been awhile since I last read book one.)
I'm happy that I have the last book in the series because that ending left me with a lot of questions!

When you read a series, do you start with book one and read all the way through the series without interruption or do you read other books from other authors in between?! (Considering the entire series has already been released.) I tend to read inbetweeners but am looking for a new read and am wondering if I should just continue right on with Mara Dyer 🤔🤔hrmm, thoughts?!?
pickThe second book of the Mara Dyer trilogy is more gripping than the first pulling you in with lots of dramatic irony and suspenseful parts. Mara is in Horizons, which is a mental facility that her parents put her in because they didn't trust her. Mara isn't alone, or safe. Neither is anyone else inside Horizons.
pickI finally finished this book! I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I'm not usually one for horror or suspense, but this story has drawn me in. The unreliable narrative adds another level of interest and I found myself flying through the second half of this book trying to get to a conclusion! Not only did the plot capture me, but the language was striking and vivid. I'm anxious to reach the ending!⭐⭐⭐⭐
