This was a great way to pass a Saturday afternoon when feeling poorly. Much better than I expected and the story turned out differently than I thought. Thanks to Stephen King for recommending this book!

Just what goes on behind closed doors in this exclusive apartment building and why apartment sitters are abandoning their highly paid apartment sitting jobs so suddenly. The apartment sitting rules seemed a little unnecessarily strict....no visitors....no bothering the other residents....you must stay in your apartment overnight every night...one of those hard to put down thrillers I love to read. An atmospheric thriller that haunts you. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Aaaah fall, but if you live in Alberta, you‘re going to have to take your kid for new snow pants tonight. This fall weather makes me want to hibernate and read all the books.
My favorite book so far by Sager. Compelling and interesting. I finished it in one day because it was so good.
Absolutely brilliant book! Literally couldn't put it down, I only started it yesterday.
I love a book where the end of a chapter is so good it makes you read the next one straight away. Such a page turner.
You must obey the rules!!
Reading my book and eating chocolate off one of the children 😍📚🍫
This book is so good!
Reserved this at the library and picked it up today. Feel abit selfish as I'm going away for two weeks and not reading it until I get back but the waiting list was quite long 🤔📚
Today‘s Prompt
Watermelon: pick a book with a juicy secret.
I couldn‘t think of a better book to fit this prompt. You‘ll have to read it to find out the secret. 😉
Also, how fitting is it that i just picked a watermelon fresh from the garden? Can‘t wait to eat it. 🍉

Just about to start Lock Every Door from Riley Sager. I‘ve enjoyed his past two books and was glad to see this come off my hold at the library!
Finally starting this tonight!
I'm a tad disappointed. Lock Every Door wasn't as strong as The Last Time I Lied. I expected this to be super suspenseful but it lagged and took a while to get into it. Sager's writing is entertaining but this story lacked emotion and complexity.
