pickThe second book in the Bunnicula series was okay, but this one is absolutely hilarious. Chester the bossy house cat is at it again, getting himself and Harold into trouble with Howie and Snowball the cat…he is convinced that the vegetables Bunnicula bites, don‘t stay innocent vegetables ready to be grilled. He has now begun to stab any ‘white‘ vegetables he finds, with toothpicks to try and stop the evil from spreading. Hilarious!!!
Do they just lie there, useless, finished, dried up? Or does Bunnicula, like the vampires of old, have a further purpose for them? Are they his minions acting on his orders to turn the world into creatures like himself? When night falls, are they out there waiting to lure innocent victims into taking a bite? Just one bite and…BAM! You‘re a goner! Think of it, Harold, if Bunnicula got out last night, this entire neighborhood could be ⬇️
“Has it ever occurred to you what happens to those vegetables?” he remarked. “What vegetables?” I asked. Chester looked deeply into my eyes. “The vegetables that Bunnicula attacks. The vegetables he drains of their life‘s juices. The vegetables, in short, he vampirizes!”

pickI remember being very excited for this book to come out and I remember really loving it when it did. Now I remember why. I was laughing a lot while listening on my way to work this morning. Really enjoyed this trip down memory lane and looking forward to the next four books, which I've never read.
Bunnicula is missing! Chester is convinced all the world's vegetables are in danger of being drained of their life juices and turned into zombies. Soon he has Harold and Howie running around sticking toothpicks through hearts of lettuce and any other veggie in sight. Of course, Chester has been known to be wrong before...but you can never be too careful when there's a vampire bunny at large!

These books are so cute. Love them. Highly recommend.

3. I like writing, and singing, and puzzles, and sending gifs to people.
4. Sweden or Spain or really just somewhere without Trump and with good healthcare and excellent for raising kids in.

The only book I could think of with a #vegetable in the title. I loved the bunnicula books as a kid! When my nephew got old enough, I gave them to him for christmas. #junebookbugs
