The Adventures of Chatterer the Red Squirrel | 
Not book-related at all but.... today I saw red squirrels in the wild! I‘ve only ever seen a glimpse of one at a distance - here there were 5 or 6 skittering around all over the place!
It‘s a bit chilly out and about though - certainly not the warmer temperatures that were forecast.... sitting in the van reading before going out for a pub tea later.... and then home tomorrow to my Christmas book stacks!

Hooked_on_books There were bionic red squirrels at my university. They ate out of the trash cans and would launch themselves out when you threw something in. I also had one steal a cookie straight out of my hand once (it was not being offered). I‘m pretty sure they were 2-3x normal size. 😂 4y
