@Chrissyreadit : Thank you so, so much for this fantastic swap package! I love everything. From the perfect pumpkins to chocolates from your local fave (tried one already - delicious!!) to the thoughtful book choices and lovely note explaining it all - just the best. I can't wait to read The Changeling on your recommendation, and so excited for the collection I've been coveting! Thank you again, and Happy Halloween!! 🧡🖤🎃🖤🧡🖤🎃🖤

A compilation of short stories. Some were good, some weren't. Overall I enjoyed it

I really enjoyed this collection of YA, queer-friendly vampire short stories. I liked all the tales, which is rare for a compilation, but Cordova and Parker did a great job compiling. Unsurprisingly, Roanhorse and Schwab are standouts, but Whaley and Ahmed were also very good.

Some of these stories I loved. Some were meh. Anthologies are not usually my thing, but I do usually love a good vampire story. The dark ones resonated with me more than the lighter hearted stories. #youngadult

Vampires Never Get Old, Ed. Zoraida Cordova & Natalie C. Parker.

Some bitey short fiction sounds like it could be my speed right now!

Haha love this copyright warning. Editors can sometimes sneak in the best jokes on these pages.

Victoria Schwab's short story in this book is being turned into a netflix series! A lesbian vampire and a lesbian vampire slayer fall for each other. 😍 I AM ALL ABOUT IT! 👿💖

Clare-Dragonfly That sounds awesome! 4y
Branwen @Clare-Dragonfly It was fantastic! Worth reading the whole book just for that story! 4y

The collection of short stories with vampires tales told in a different POV really opened my mind about what different types of vampires there are.

These short stories are wonderful. Some of them blew my mind because I honestly never thought of a vampire with the traits these characters had or how they were changed. I really enjoyed them and there are a few I wish were full length novels.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A little retail therapy to end my week. I couldn‘t resist the special edition of ACOTAR and I‘ve been wanting to get a hold of the tagged book.

A really fun collection of short stories about vampires, from modern slayers to resurrection men discovering vampires in graves and reimaginations of vampire lore. I particularly enjoyed The House of Black Sapphires by Dhonielle Clayton, Senior Year Sucks by Julie Murphy, The Boy and the Bell by Heidi Heilig, In Kind by Kayla Whaley, Vampires Never Say Die by Cordova and Parker, and First Kill by V.E. Schwab. #netgalley
