Thanks for the tag @dabbe 😀

1. It's not terribly original, but it's hard to beat a dragon. Or maybe a sea serpent - I love to swim, and I could hang out in Lake Champlain with our own resident monster, Champ (though I guess that would make me a lake serpent 🐍 🤔).

2. The tagged book has ALL the creatures! 🐲🐉🧛‍♀️👾👻

Un bestiario compilato da fonti da tutto il mondo e da tutte le epoche, con l'entusiasmo classificatorio dell'autore pronto a ritrovare i fili che congiungono le creature fantastiche forgiate dalla mente umana. Consigliato. Recensione completa: https://www.instagram.com/p/CbC3VSDsWVK/?utm_medium=copy_link

My daughter inherited my childhood love of Greek mythology, and we spent several years plowing through any book on the subject we could get our hands on. After the D'Aulaires, frankly, it was all downhill, until we came across this gem, a book about monsters and other mythical fauna written by a bona fide genius. #freakyfriday #fantasticzoology

1) Poe & Whitman.
2) Gray.
3) I don't watch much TV, but a couple of weeks ago I binged the hell out of Westworld season 1.
4) Griffin.

We do not know what the dragon means, just as we do not know the meaning of the universe, but there is something in the image of the dragon that is congenial to man‘s imagination... It is, one might say, a necessary monster

I love Borges and "The Book of Imaginary Beings" is one of my favorites. If you like imaginative literature &/or bestiaries then BUY this. It is a book I've frequently reread.

This is generally what happens as soon as I finish reading a book. I start reading like 20 books and can't decide which one I care to commit to next. I enjoy reading so much that I suck at it.
