Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service: Book One Omnibus
Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service: Book One Omnibus | Eiji Otsuka
5 posts | 4 read | 1 reading | 6 to read
Five students at a Buddhist college in Japan realize the job market is tough these days...among the living, that is! But their unique spiritual and scientific talents might help them get work from the "dead," for they can contact the spirits of corpses and speak with them. And if a body is found hanging from a tree or lying in an alley, it's probably got a story to tell! The five form The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service, specializing in carrying out the last wishes of their dead clients, so their souls can move on. But the Kurosagi gang are magnets for weirdness--not just corpses--and every case gets them involved in disturbing personal obsessions, bizarre modern Tokyo fads, and strange rituals of old Japan...and often all at once!

Nice little read this. Some freaky stuff in it though with the corpses 😱

I'm behind on a lot of my reviews. Honestly I avoid them because I suck so bad at writing them.

Anyhoo, I decided on a whim to read this #manga. It's different but not in an off putting way. A group of college students each with a unique talent decide to help fulfill the last wishes of corpses. While good, it didn't knock my socks off in a Oh I have to have the next volume way.

Cortg Great review 👏 6y

Horror manga done right. The characters are individually interesting, high suspense, occasional bits of gore that never seem gratuitous.

Highly recommended!
