1) While Ares wasn‘t my favourite of the #ParanormalLoveCrew reads, I did really enjoy it. Ares was an interesting take on the Greek gods, and it was a good paranormal romance :)

2) I will at some point probably read the rest of the series. I actually have the second one downloaded on my kindle already as it was on offer ☺️

I know this is a little against the grain but yes.. they shouldn't be all consumed with each other but... they need to enjoy each other as well!

I recently read Circe which I really really enjoyed. I haven't read much of specific stories but have read many books with just little stories of each god/goddess in a big book of all of them. So I don't really have a favorite. (Of course I love Disney's Hercules though!)

1) advice? As much as you love each other, you need other people in your lives to be happy. It isn‘t healthy for either of you to have your entire world tied up in one person.

2) I love a Hades/Persephone retelling. One where everything is consensual obviously. The webtoon Lore Olympus is amazing (though they aren‘t together yet!)

Great pick this month. Super steamy novel!
Good to watch the relationship grow between Megan and Ares - those parts were very well written.
I would have liked to know a bit more about the world - I think that would have made me keener to read the rest.

Listening time. I keep having to start over becuz I keep falling asleep. #PLC

1) Ares sounds super sexy, but has too much of a temper for me. We would argue a lot and that‘s not my thing. He does seem to genuinely care though and has a sweet, softer side!

2) I would want somewhere with a nice view, on the outskirts of a town/city so I had my own space but could venture in and be sociable. Somewhere with proper seasons would be nice too, though the UK does a fairly decent job!

The descriptions of him make him sound super sexy! So I would probably think he was a bad-boy (with all the weaponry) who was super sexy who I NEEDED! Ha! I mean wouldn't you want him!?

I would love to be at a beach or by a lake. Maybe some sleepy town that is closer to a big city. Somewhere in Italy or France.

I really enjoyed this one. Yes it wasn't my favorite that we have read in #ParanormalLoveCrew but I have enjoyed it. Ares is such an interesting character. And the love affair was quick (I mean most of them are like super quick) but it was fun to see the woman in charge for a change. Anyway, I might continue the series as it was intriguing.

While this wasn‘t one of my favourite reads this year, I did really enjoy this months #ParanormalLoveCrew pick!

Despite Ares having some of the stereotypical alpha male traits (EXTREMELY possessive for instance) it was nice to read something that showed some male vulnerability. And a woman that knew what she wanted. So that was quite refreshing!

I will probably read the others at some point. I am particularly intrigued by Esher! :)

Week one of the #ParanormalLoveCrew April pick Ares

I only started this recently so I am not very far through, but so far Ares is the stereotypical gorgeous, muscular, protective alpha male (this is not a bad thing). But since when do grown men growl so much? Every few minutes he is growling about something!

And one of my favourite versions of Ares is from the Lore Olympus webtoon. I just think he‘s pretty funny 😂

Hopefully I will get around to one of my other books! (I am re-reading the Mercy Thompson series, on Night Broken at the minute, and re-reading the Hollows series where I am currently at Every Which Way But Dead).

2) I like to have a rough idea of what I‘m reading, but go with what I fancy
