Another great installment in the Immortals After Dark series. There is witty banter and snark as always and it is so much fun. The only reason I take away a half star is the miscommunication trope, which annoys me, but I dealt with it because I really enjoyed the characters. This is #17 in the series and it really is best read in order. 4.5⭐️

I LOVE this couple!! I love that they are head-to-head and Lila takes no shit from Abysian. That kind of equality is something I always enjoy in romance. Easily o e of my favorites by Kresley Cole. :)

A steamy book about trust, destiny, and overcoming preconceptions while falling in love. The King of Hell meets his match in a banished fairy queen. Recommend!

I absolutely loved Lila and Sian's story and I adored the BATB vibes: Cole was correct in dedicating this book to "all those who still dream of fairy tales" as I love my fairytales & this dark spin was amazing.
Especially showcasing that even the strongest bond can overcome the harshest betrayals ?

Read this mostly in one sitting. Not my favorite in the series, because it seemed a little formulaic as a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Still great characters though and fun steamy scenes.

I thought I had pre-ordered this one, but it came out on Tuesday and it didn't show up in my mailbox. So I ordered it on Tuesday and received it today. I ❤️ the Immortals After Dark series. I'm sure I'll be reading this one soon.

I tried to make myself read this slowly, but at some point yesterday my self-control broke down and I tore through the last third. This is a fairy tale that even included a spinning wheel, albeit with hot sex, but set in a very creative "hell" dimension. The heroine tames all sorts of hellish creatures, as well as a magic castle (predictably fun results). I loved the fairy tale gestures, including to Hogwarts and Disneyland. #romantsy

Totally listened to this start to finish in one go with little to no interruption! Thank the powers that be for Audible and a mindless manual labor job I can wear headphones 🎧 to! Loved this one! Kresley Cole is a literary goddess! And now, to bask in the afterglow of bookish fulfillment and avoid thinking about the interminable wait for the next installment...

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I just stayed up 3 hours past my bedtime to finish this amazing book!!! Each book in this series gets better and better. I loved how Lila and Sian finally came together. Lila is so smart and strong and Sian so alpha, but vulnerable. And now I wait...bring on book 19 (hopefully soon, but since this book came out today I'm guessing not 😢) #romantsy
