I finished a book for the #JoysOfJune #readathon! Yay🎉 My Reading has really suffered from the garden bug, but honestly, I haven‘t felt this good mentally for years. But I very much enjoyed a reread of my favourite Potter book especially in this beautiful cheerful yellow Hufflepuff edition.

Sitting here on the deck at Gwandalan, enjoying the sun and the view while reading my book. Spent the morning digging up a 2 pears and a peach tree and grabbing cuttings from a few of my Aunts plants(the hubby refused to dig up a large fig tree too the big wuss😋)Its a gorgeous winter day here, sky‘s blue with no clouds at all. For the first time in 3yrs, I‘m away for the weekend! The hubby had to do a job at Umina Beach so we‘re staying up at his aunts house in Gwandalan on Lake Macquarie at the Central Coast. Currently sitting on their deck, watching the sun set on the lake and reading some Harry Potter. I‘m sitting in my new FirePit shelter in my backyard, watching the sun go down & reading the Hufflepuff edition of my favourite Potter book. I know what J.K has said recently is very contentious but I‘m refusing to let it ruin my enjoyment of the story. And I already owned it so I‘m not financially supporting her either. The Hubbys gonna light up the fire soon so we can keep warm while watching the stars come out. What‘s your day like? #JoysOfJune

It‘s been a pretty awful week so far but while working from home today I got a knock on the door and the postman delivered these two beautiful books to me from my lovely husband 💛. I lent my Hufflepuff copy of the first book to my friend in hospital this week otherwise I would have taken a pic of all three. This means I definitely need to rearrange my Potter shelves!
