Spent a peaceful couple of hours at the library & library bookstore this morning. The New Books shelf always draws me in first. 📚📚📚

Today, I‘m sharing the library holds I haven‘t read. I placed a lot of library holds in 2022 and cancelled all of them because of the wait times being so long on Libby and I was overwhelmed. I ended up buying the audiobooks for Malice and Misrule on Audible. I‘ll probably read a lot of these books on Audible or Scribd if they don‘t become available on Libby. However if they‘re available to borrow on Libby, that‘s even better.
Today, I‘m sharing library holds that I‘ve read and star ratings. I thought it would be interesting to share this. I listened to the audiobook for Something Blue by Emily Giffin on Scribd and I listened to the audiobook for A Touch Of Jen on Audible because I didn‘t want to wait for the audiobooks to become available but other than that, I was able to listen to the audiobooks for these other books on Libby without the wait times being too long.
At my school's library, maybe I'll tell the librarian to leave me behind when the library closes lol.
That was a long sidewalk to do, including what‘s behind me 🥵. Luckily the plow guy came for the parking lot itself. The library director asked if I could shovel since the county is having a blood drive here tomorrow. Say no more! The walk across town was quiet with the roads still covered. Now to throw down some salt since the snow keeps coming and we don‘t need ice for tomorrow morning. I love my library, man. Godspeed! #LitsyLovesLibraries
Our library opens the doors to the public on Monday 😬 My library system shared this on FB from the CDC; I hope our customers get the message 😂
I thoroughly enjoy my job ☺️. One reason why is because I‘m surrounded by books 😁!!! One side of my cubicle. The bottom books are to be cataloged. The stack on the right and the ones way up top are a mix for the Summer Reading Program and the jail. The box underneath the binders is full classic comic books from the ‘30s-‘80s that a patron gave me as a gift. Sometimes I feel like the wall of books will collapse upon me 😆.
