Great little book contains about ten descriptions of various walks around London.

Ending #nfn2020 with a classic - enjoying my city through Dickens eyes ( and feet!) whilst under blankets on the sofa - bittersweet.
Smashing the walking this week nearly 7 miles today. We did a night walk and ended at the pub so a picture of this crazy one instead of the scenery 🤣

I would really like to get my hands on this one! There's just something about walking in the dark, and something about Dickens 😍

This wasn't really for me. My eyes kept sliding over the words without really reading and comprehending them. I read two essays and the beginning of a third, and I can only give the vaguest description of what I have read..
Maybe, I will try it again another day.

As the English say- "needs must". But even though I have to get my hair done and temporarily interrupt my @24in48 readathon, I am trying to cram little stolen moments to continue with Dicken's Night Walks.
Every morning I spend with a book and a cup of coffee is a #puremorning for me. Hopefully I will get a couple of those this weekend for the #24in48 readathon. I have to go to a birthday on Saturday, and I am not sure I will be able to read for 24 hours, so my #tbr consists of relatively short books. That way I still feel like I finish something 📚

I started reading this slim tome after visiting the Dickens Museum in London. It's filled with short essays and a delight to read, especially if you are interested in Dickens as an early social justice pioneer.
