The Wild Things | 
My wife has a facebook bookseller from whom we've bought A LOT of books. The Wild Things was one my wife asked me about. I have one other Eggers book and told her to buy it at $4. So cute! I just reached the part in the story where Max discovers the creatures on the island. Here are pictures of two of them! I definitely have to read Maurice Sendak‘s children‘s book “Where the Wild Things Are” after I read this novel.
My current read... I knew nothing about this book before starting it except that I‘ve liked other works by this author. So far, so good. It‘s the story of a boy named Max (I‘m still trying to figure out about how old he is) and his life with his mom and his sister Claire.

This edition of Dave Eggers' version of The Wild Things was published in 2009. A Huffington post article claimed 2008 as the Year of the Mustache, and beards were soon to follow. This is my first book with facial hair and I was dismayed that it didn't come with its own brush.
