Fun graphic novel about Depression-era hustlers and schemers working at the Waldorf-Astoria.
Fun graphic novel about Depression-era hustlers and schemers working at the Waldorf-Astoria.
Illustrated by the author, a fun whodunnit with great artwork.

Set in the late 30‘s in NYC (natch), this was a fun little caper graphic novel. Quick read and I love the art.
If you‘re doing the Read Harder Challenge this would fit the comic written and illustrated by the same person challenge.

Excited to start on this pile of library and #mttbr graphic novels tonight! This should last me through Wednesday 😂 and then I‘ve got some more library books in reserve 😁

Heading to the library later, I think. So I have to read two more #graphicnovels before we go. Starting the day off with this one. ❤️️

When you try to start another graphic novel, but your cat cuts you off. Apparently I've reached my nightly limit, and it is now time to cuddle Totem. 😹#Totesamaze

I‘m still adapting to the graphic novel format. I‘m willing to try more. That‘s about it😐. @Kelican17
There wasn‘t much to the story. It was pretty quick but also forgetful but the artwork was AMAZING so 3/5 ⭐️
I loved all of the characters, the artwork, and the ending. 👍🏻👍🏻 i'm glad I treated myself to this graphic novel. 💚
Super cute graphic novel about a hotel in the 1930s. Fun and a quick read.
I picked this up for the historical setting and the pretty pictures. It was great and went in a direction I truly didn't see coming.
Totally departing from my TBR pile. Nothing was clicking. New York City. 1936. Frank is a bellhop who owes a high roller money. He works with Theresa, a maid in the same building by day, and acting in the "Federal Theatre Negro Unit" production of MacBeth directed by Orson Welles at night. Things heat up when a jeweled dog collar goes missing and the first, and basically only person they accuse is the black maid. #24in48 #Readathon Good. ??
Self-contained graphic novel about burglaries in the Waldorf-Astoria hotel. The art in this book is gorgeous and I would like to dress like a rich woman from the 1930s, please and thank you.
