20th Victim
20th Victim: (Womens Murder Club 20) | James Patterson
14 posts | 15 read | 4 to read
The Women's Murder Club face the fight of their lives in the latest thriller from the bestselling James Patterson series Some people like to shoot. Some people like to kill. Three victims, three bullets, three cities. The first of these simultaneous serial killings occurs in San Francisco, Sergeant Lindsay Boxer's jurisdiction and reporter Cindy Thomas's beat. The shooters are precise, as is their target selection. Each one of the men and women down excels at an illegal and deadly activity that is dominating public debate. As the casualty list expands, the fear and fascination with this shooting gallery galvanises the county. Are the shooter villains or heroes? And who will be next?

At some points I found this book hard to keep up with but it was more like the women‘s murder club books im used to.

When Libby notifies you that your hold comes in, you stop watching Netflix and download it to your Kindle. I am starting this now as these books are normally a quick read.

It wasn't as good as previous. For me, it is kinda of boring. Maybe James Patterson should end this.

Really wanted to pan this but giving it a so-so because the story wasn't too bad just very disjointed. The Women's Murder Club is no more though! They should really stop pretending the series is continuing because it isn't. They barely talk and never get together to help solve murders anymore. They only got together afew times during this book and it just wasn't like it used to be. Another disappointment! 😌

Liatrek Agreed! After the last one I decided to bail on the series for that exact same reason. It‘s a shame it had such a great start but honestly after he killed Jill it was never the same for me. 5y
suzie.reads @Liatrek I used to love them but the past few books have been poor and I don't think I will be bothering with 21 5y

This was really somewhere between a so so and a pick. The recent books in this series haven‘t been as good as the earlier books in the series. Is the series running out of stream? But despite this I‘m sure I‘ll pick up number 21 when it is published. In this one friendships are challenged when conflicts arise. Also there is a life changing moment for Claire which was one of the better parts of the book.
