This book was eye opening to say the least, Cheney explains what happened from the aftermath of the 2020 election craziness to the January 6 attack. She explains everything that she witnessed and how she so adamantly tried to express how important the Constitution is and how provisions were put in place for a reason! Its disheartening how many in our government stand behind Trump and not upholding their oath to the Constitution

AmyG I listened to the audiobook as Cheney read it. I may not agree on policy but I have so much respect for her. 2mo

Areader2 @AmyG yes I agree I am not a fan of her policies either but I respect her too and even more so now she endorsed Kamala! so many cower to Trump and ignore their oath, to me is extremely scary and just the fact he is running for president again after everything that happened blows my mind (edited) 2mo

It's not the greatest series/trilogy that I've ever read, but itbworked for pulling me out of a bit of a reading slump. Interesting enough, but not overly complicated. #35-2024

Shep is everything and oh my gosh where can I find one?! Nurse Louise was a total gem. Eve was so lucky to be surrounded by such great people during a time when life is really stressful. Book #35 in 2024

I'm not sure I like where this series is headed. I want to like my main characters, and I want to know that once I've invested time and emotion in them that I won't be left frustrated. I'm not sure that's the case here. But I'll keep reading. 2 to go. #35-2023

Book #35
4/5
As a bluenoser, this one's close to home, literally. They could never make a movie based on the NS massacres of April 2020, because the sheer volume of people involved, and the complexity of the situation, complete with unbelievable lies and cover-ups. Palango's comprehensive research and writing on the subject are both very informative and eye-opening.
