I enjoyed this book, quick read and kept me engaged. Had its ups and downs for the characters and finding their way in a new and unfamiliar territory both family, friends and environment. It‘s a love story but will love find a way.

Second time reading this after a number of years, thought I would read it again before I start watching the series. I rather enjoyed it as I did the first time and am looking forward to reading the entire Strike series.

Another fast paced WMC ride, I enjoyed this one but the others in the WMC hardly get a mention, the side story is just that a couple of chapters thrown in, whilst I enjoyed the book it‘s not my favourite.

Not sure what to think of this one yet, I finished it. I didn‘t hate it, it did keep me engaged and wanting to find out what was happening to them and why but I think the ending wasn‘t what I was after. In the end Love will find a way!

I did enjoy this one, so many suspects and twists. At one stage I did think well maybe it was them but quickly said no probably not! I didn‘t see one of the final twist though. Kept me engaged and guess to the end!

The prequel to the Hunger Games, been on the TBR for a long time and being that the movie is coming out later this year thought I‘d give it a go. The odds are against Snow and the tribute he is mentoring in the tenth games, how does Snow go from being an 18 year old preparing his shot at glory and fame to a ruthless tyrant as President Snow!

Gave me some understanding of an Aurora, but will have to read again (a few times) to get further understanding, it helped me to capture my first Aurora Australis chase, Yes I was very excited, I didn‘t have all my gear on holiday with me but I still managed to get some great shots even if hand held. I now have the Aurora Chaser Bug that‘s for sure.

It kept you guessing and wasn‘t given away, whilst you think you know who it is, you don‘t. Looking forward to Dr Scarpetta‘s next instalment as Chief Medical Examiner.

I was worried this book wouldn‘t live up to all the rave reviews but WOW. I really enjoyed this book and rode the wave of emotions and didn‘t want to put it down. Strong women doing whatever it takes to survive, keep their family and friends safe in war torn France. The courage shown in desperate times to help others stay alive and fighting for what they believe in and their will to keep going and make it alive.

I enjoyed this book & the different personalities of each character. It shows the lengths that family will go to keep a secret, protect or provide for each other. Whilst the love of some doesn‘t always feel obvious, scratch the surface and you‘ll soon realise it‘s been there all along, just maybe your perception has been skewed.

I was excited to start this book after reading rave reviews about how good it is, but I found it took me awhile to get into it after the start, I‘m not one to give up and in the end I enjoyed it and couldn‘t put it down especially the last 150 it so pages. I‘m looking forward to reading A court of mist and fury to see where the story goes.

This is probably my favourite book of the Harry Potter series. In short we are introduced to the night bus, Professor Lupin, Buckbeak, Sirius Black and Harry finally feeling like he has family.

PurpleTulipGirl I think it‘s my favorite of the series, too. Harry isn‘t ANGRY all the time, which helps. 4y

Whilst I enjoy this book every time I read it, it‘s probably my least favourite out of the series but I can‘t put a finger on why? It still takes me away into the Wizarding World as do the other books, I would still recommend reading it but there is just something about it!

Scochrane26 I think there‘s a lot of people who say that either the 2nd or 5th Book is their least favorite. This one has so many clues that are used in the last couple of books. I love all the books, but I can‘t pinpoint what it is about this one either. 4y
nanuska_153 I think it might be because it is a transition book, the first one is proper children's book (and the one who started it all) and the third one with the dementors is the first dark bool of the series. The chamber of secrets kind of falls in the middle, a bit darker than the first one, but not yet there. 4y

This is a re-read but still holds a world of imagination and wonder, this book got me back into reading as an adult, I enjoy it as much now as a 40+ year old as I did when I was in my 20‘s and no matter how many times I read it, it still takes me away into the Wonderful Wizarding world!

Scochrane26 Do you know that @Linsy is hosting a #potteraday re-read of the books on litsy? There‘s several people reading a chapter a day if you want to join in. They‘re still on book 1, but you could join at book 2. 4y
