In the spirit of #outwiththeoldinwiththenew I want to finish at least one more book for the year. Across the three books I‘m actively reading at the moment, I have about 16 total hours until I‘m finished.

We have friends coming into town for the weekend, but on Monday myspouse will be watching college football all day. In other words, I‘ll be happy to get in about 8-10 hours of reading.

December was a good reading month, despite how it often felt. 22 books/4802 pages.

In 2020 I read 224 books/54,193 pages (not including DNFs). Slightly below last year, but not by much. I did a lot of reading while hubby was deployed, which made up for the slow start to the year.

I don‘t set reading goals, but I hope 2021 goes better in just about every sense!

In December I read 23 books, 1 DNF, for a total of 5047 pages.

That brings my year totals to: 237 books and 54,216 pages! That‘s four times my number of books for the previous year and triple the page count! 😲 Thank you Litsy for encouraging me to have the best reading year in a really long time!

I don‘t set goals, but I‘m hoping 2020 will be just as amazing.

And in with the new...

Passed my goal of 48 last year (w a small selection of the books that kicked off my year)... and am setting a goal of 53 this year. It still feels like a stretch, given how little progress I am able to make sometimes ... but 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽!
