The Bree Taggert Series is another female detective series that I enjoyed. It begins with the murder of Bree's sister in a different town, prompting Bree to move there to take care of her sister's children. This event dramatically changes her life. The series intertwines both personal and professional aspects of Bree's journey, as she balances her family life while solving crimes. 🎧

Ok so I found another author that I believe will be added to my favorite authors list 🙌🏽 this book was beautiful written with great characters and a really great storyline I finished this in less the 6 hrs so great read 📖🙌🏽 and this is the first I‘ve read from this author so I‘m excited to read more of books by this author 😊

Finished the bottom 3 books,but have yet to review.
The top 4 books are in process. Yesterday I discovered I have tendinosis in a tendon that crosses my right bicep. It is beyond painful and swollen.I did have a Cortizone shot and I‘m on meds,but I was told the Cortizone may take a week to kick in. Meanwhile, I‘m trying to use my left hand as much as possible, as I am right handed. It‘s a challenge!

Bree has long got over her childhood drama. She's a homicide detective in Philadelphia. Her sister was killed and Bree has to return to her hometown to find the killer.

As good as this first book was, I'm not sure I'll continue reading the series. It's the small town setting that I have a problem with.

This is NOT the short story I read but they don‘t have it listed. Her Second Death is a short story that is Bree before this book (Cross Her Heart). When she was in Philadelphia and just got on homicide.

been away for awhile but i‘m still reading. started the Bree Taggert series & i recommend heavily.

Great start to a series with little romance as yet. I hate it when they rush two characters getting together - a slow burn is much better. 4🌟
