This RF picture book written by Derek Munson and illustrated by Tara Calahan King would be good for RA. A boy named Jeremy Ross moved into a new town and his house is next to his number one enemy. His dad has the perfect recipe to get rid of enemies called Enemy Pie, but he would only agree to make it if he spends an entire day playing with the enemy!

sbombasi After hanging out with his enemy he seems to not be all that bad after all and actually wants to be friends with him. But, with the promise of making the Enemy pie…is it still an enemy pie? Was there anything nasty about the pie after all? Find out! This is a nice book for kids to learn how to make friends or deal with conflict with someone. #ucflae3414f19 4y
sbombasi This teacher guide has multiple activities to go along with the book that reaches across the curriculum. I particularly like the activity of creating a friendship pie.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love picture books that teach a lesson without hitting you over the head with it. If I still taught young ‘uns, I‘d use it to teach inference. #TeachersOfLitsy

RainyDayReading This author came to my school a very looong time ago (when I was in like 3rd grade) and made enemy pie with us! Which was crushed Oreos and gummy worms. He signed all our copies too (: 6y

Enemy Pie is an RF picture book, sharing the tale of a new neighbor in town, who is also the one and only enemy. This story is great for young readers who are learning the real meaning behind friendship. Here is a link for a read aloud and teacher activities: http://www.storylineonline.net/books/enemy-pie/#YouTube #ucflae3414su17

DrSpalding This is an excellent choice. If the content could occur, this would be RF rather than F. Check your flip book. Storyline online is fantastic! Be sure your URL is hyperlinked in the post! 7y
