More maudlin than I was expecting, but loved that interaction between Max and the Chief.

A couple hours late but here goes:
1) Yes I was crazy into horror as a teenager and can‘t read it now. In the past few years I‘ve been reading a lot more mysteries.
2) Thanks to all the #wintergames Christmas reading I‘ve discovered the main character in the attached book part of a marvelous series. So Max is my current fave literary character.

Max‘s team from St. Mary‘s is getting a reputation for breaking the rules on Christmas Eve and here they go again with all good and righteous motives to retrieve an item lost in ancient Egypt. This was, for the most part, a fun tale of misadventure (poor Markham!). #holidayread
