This is the most disturbing book I have ever encountered and I'm convinced nothing will ever take its place.

I've had my eye on this book for awhile.
Is there a hashtag for books that are on sale? We should make one.
No matter how fucked up we think we are, there's always someone worse out there. Careful what you portray to others, you're never quite sure who's watching. Once you see your quirks up close under a microscope, they tend to be more difficult to explain and rationalize. But hey, we're all a little fucked up, yeah?

Don‘t read this book. I just read it in an afternoon. It‘s the most horribly wonderful awful book I have read in a long time. It has all the triggers. Well, maybe it‘s missing one or two, but it‘s just easier to say it has all of them. It has A LOT. And I loved it. It‘s seriously dark and depraved and deviant. But I have a thing for splatterpunk. I do not in anyway recommend this book. But it‘s really good.

I feel like there wasn't much of a storyline to this, it's one of those extreme horror novels that are written just to shock and disgust the reader.
The writing was pretty good though and I liked the first person narrative.
I just felt like it was written for shock values sake.
Certainly not for the faint of heart. 🤢
This is the most difficult book review I‘ve ever had to give. Check it out on my Goodreads: www.goodreads.com/chrystal_graham
This is the most disgusting book I‘ve ever read, but it was still a 5 star read. Proceed with caution- there are so many triggers.
No more BookTok videos for me. I just can't. This was on a list for Most Dusturbing Reads and that has to be the understatement of the year. Graphic and just wrong but I could have almost forgiven it if there had been any decent storyline at all. There was one scene that should never have been thought of let alone put to paper. I can't....
Do yourself a favour and just don't. Really...don't.

Poorly done splatterpunk novel. Nothing more than shock value. There was a lack of plot and character development. Overall an incredibly disturbing, taboo read. *Massive trigger warnings*
Well. I didn‘t like this. It wasn‘t the extreme horror elements it was the actual writing. It‘s super tedious and repetitious to the point where any of the shocking events are tamped down because they‘re super predictable. Or maybe I‘m just really gross? Anyways. I can‘t recommend it.
I‘m reading this as part of the Queens of Horror book club. I‘ll be honest, so far it‘s pretty disgusting and I feel like the writing is a little tedious. I‘m a huge horror fan but I sometimes find “extreme” horror can be a little lame.
