Crazeedi @Cupcake12 a black lab! We had a chocolate lab Mojo who we lost in July, he was our boy💔, my hubby is very lonely without a buddy to be outside with. So we may get this little guy, 10 weeks old 10mo

I loved this crime novel. Great characters, sense of place - set in Galway & a Roundstone, a beach town - & plot. I read it in one day. Sometimes I just want a good police procedural & this fits the bill. Complex, flawed characters, criminals stalking a small town & police corruption. Well-written & paced. Recommended.

I am still processing all the bits and pieces in this book that eventually merge into a whole.It‘s a police procedural,set in Galway Ireland & a coastal village,Roundstone.Each setting lends its pace to the plot.Det.Cormac Reilly & Garda Peter Fisher,each confronting personal issues,targeted within the police force, uncover corruption & evil. Add a mysterious mute child,an abduction, eccentric village characters, and you have an enthralling read.
