Busy week with a much needed pause in the action for me. Yesterday I helped a friend at a craft fair and got some shopping done. More steps than expected but also standing on concrete floor hard on my knees. Today football palooza for myspouse and his buds means reading time for me.

Picture is my new “inspirational” Fitbit cover photo. It was a fun, stressful, and busy week. One work thing is done, with another thing starting tomorrow, and then we‘re done with large scale events for a while. Yesterday I got a haircut and facial, then I watched the parade on TV.

This week I have activities every night and a big “thing” at work, but somehow 🤔 I‘ve managed to accumulate all these library books plus a few others that aren‘t shown for various reasons. The Fodor‘s guidebook is research for #readingretreat2020 but still...

No steps at the moment, I've been #GhostLocked by #GhostCat, and #ShadowCat occupied my seat when I got up to switch on the light.
Pretty good work week...aside from screen use Wednesday night😃...and not so good on the weekend. OTOH I did some socializing, errands, and reorganizing. Newly arranged nightstand in the photo. Yes, that‘s a mermaid themed nail file in my Nationals coozie repurposed as a holder thingy.

This past week for the first time since bfcr1 I not only met but surpassed my goals!
1) walking goal: 6 miles per wk; walked 9 miles
2) books read: goal 2; read 4
3) hydration: working on mindfulness regarding daily drinking of water 🙌🏻
So I met with the dietician at my GI doc‘s practice, and we decided on that calorie goal. So far, it‘s going pretty well. I‘m a bit hungry but 🤷🏻♀️ I miss sugar!
I‘m getting spinal x-rays Monday. I‘ve had two fusions and may need a third. I only have one disc left in my neck. That‘s why I was upset. I‘m just so sick of surgeries. I‘ve had 16 of them. It‘s just not a pastime I want to have. 😔 I‘m in constant pain.

Walked two miles early this morning.Slowed down my pace. Felt so good to be back walking after almost a week!
Goals: did not meet my 6 miles but thats ok; I have been 😃sick.
Books: read more than usual: one audiobook, 4 books, finished a fifth. All that reading is because I was sick & at home.That‘s positive!
Hydration( added this week). Trying, more conscious of not just having a water bottle but drinking it!!!😃
