Last night‘s #FridayHappyReadingHour ! After my first week back at work I was too exhausted to post but not too exhausted to imbibe in wine & a snack, & a book.
My last long leisurely early morning until next weekend- back to work tomorrow. A rooster crowing, birds sing, sun shining. Awaiting my hummingbirds visit. Sitting & taking the morning in.

pickOh how I love this series and the writing of Christopher Fowler. This did not disappoint. He gives me interesting facts about London and it‘s history, peppers his writing with words I have to look up. Has the most endearing characters that have developed over time. His books are a joy to read. And I never guess the ending. Why this has not been picked up for a tv series is a mystery. It would be wonderful.
