A good guide especially for newer cat owners who didn‘t grow up with a pet cat. It‘s all fairly general and simplified, which makes it easy to flip to a page and see what you could improve. I appreciate that the author takes the time to mention the health hazards of letting cats wander outside unsupervised.

Since this is general, maybe look elsewhere if you‘re dealing with a specific problem

Overall, a good guide to cats. Covers everything from body language, to picking litter, feeding, finding a vet, bedding, toys, scratching posts, and aging. My only complaint is a comment about leaving your pet in a car on a hot day when traveling, though I realize temps can very greatly depending on where you‘re located. Good reference guide or gift for new cat owners.
