Overall I enjoyed this book, but it was very YA in how the characters reacted to each other and processed their feelings (ie not very well, all of the angst). My favorite part was the dynamics of the boy band, how each member felt like they were hiding a large part of themselves and the ways in which they coped with or fought against the restrictions. Plus I'm always down for a bi-awakening story 🩷💜💙

I enjoyed this. 2 guys in a boy band fall for each other and fight the producer Man.
Zach and Ruben are delightful characters, and are well rounded. The story is told from their alternating POV.
Overall this was just too long. Normally a book of this type takes me a couple of days to read, this took a week. While it was good it needed a bit of editing and tightening.

Cute m/m romance. Liked how well this topic was developed, discover what you want, your identity, how to express to others that you are gay, fear to be rejected, family support, friendship, religion. But there were parts where I couldn‘t easily identify who was talking, Ruben or Zach. The voices in my opinion were not well delimited even when characters were developed by different author. Some parts were repetitive, little cheesy. But I like it.

Aww I really enjoyed this. It deals with a lot of triggers in that industry but its handled well. I love the strength of the boys pulling together to get their best futures. #Scarathlon #TeamSlaughter 6pts. 5*

#gaymay OMG this book was stressful. Did the ending make up for the 90% of the book devoted to things going sideways? 🤔 Maybe. Half a swoonie and only an implied spice. 🙄

Starting this one tonight ♥️.

I expected this to be a sweet little love story- and it is- but it has unexpected depths. Their management controls every detail of these boy's lives- from dictating haircuts to preventing their queer members from coming out- while also ignoring the toll it's taking on the band. Until disaster strikes. This book delves into issues of identity, toxic childhoods, race, mental health and drug abuse. 👍🏻👍🏻
