Put another way: the allure of Everywhere Else is very attractive until he realizes that Everywhere Else can never surprise him like New York.
Family drama *and* politics? It‘s a bit trashy, but I‘m there for it. Read my thoughts here: https://debbybrauer.org/#lets-not-do-that-again
This book flips between hilarious and maddening/sad. 👆
That said, I‘m glad this on my #auldlangspine list! It has quite the group of characters. 😄
Oh boy. This family is “interesting.” 😆😆😆

First book from my #auldlangspine reading list. 🎉
@Sharpeipup I‘m starting the year with this book from your list. I *might* start it today. It‘s *almost* the new year. 😄

In honor of midterm elections, I read this book with a glance into the drama in a political family.
I recommend both it and early voting. 🗳
Here‘s my October. Lots of good and very good. Nothing great. #octoberstats
Trying to finish up the tagged book but distracted by leaf peeping at Letchworth State Park and football (Go Bills!❤️💙🏈)
I was hoping #BookSpinBingo would help me pick which spooky books to read from my list but it‘s a couple of the non spooky options. #BookSpin #DoubleSpin
I like a good family drama. Throw in some politics, and I like it even better. 🤓
This political comedy gave me the giggles and worked great on audio!
Longtime NYC Congresswoman Nancy‘s rebellious daughter threw a wrench into her Senate campaign. Greta was caught throwing a bottle at a protest while mugging for the camera. Her brother thinks he‘s retired from being their mom‘s #2, but she calls in a favor and asks him to find Greta in Paris. Meanwhile her newbie campaign manager tries to deal with the fallout.
Don‘t get me wrong, there‘s lots to like about it but it just never hit for me. Glad I read it but don‘t think I‘d recommend it.
Looks like Annie B. Jones picked another good one. #ThebookshelfTville #Shelfsubscription #MountTBR
Bedtime reading in the City of Angels. I am LOVING Grant Ginder‘s new novel.
