pickThe last book in our #LMPBC round and a good one. This was the first historical fiction/mystery that I've read set in Florida. And that was probably my favorite part. Cassie, while trying her best to behave, stumbles across her neighbors dead body. So, of course, she has to investigate.

pickThis was my May #LMPBC and is the first in an historical mystery series set in 1883 on Amelia Island (FL). I won‘t say much here to spoil it for my group, but I did end up enjoying it after a bit of a struggle. It started off slow for me but by the middle I was invested. Loved the heroine (Cassie), and there were actually several plots going on (which could be confusing). A bit silly at times (got past that), but overall I liked it. 3.5/5⭐️

This was a bit different for me. I don‘t want to say too much since it‘s a #LMPBC pick. It didn‘t seem like your typical historical mystery and the characters were all wacky. I‘ve never read a historical set in Florida before, so it was definitely interesting.

so-soA very special book, a girl in an adventure she doesn't want to, but she must be able to save her only family member alive. The main character I believe has to deal with more than a normal person in her situation and time will be able to handle but she does her best and clears up the problems.
