I'm not crying. You're crying!
Fantastic rec @TheBookHippie!
This was just so sweet and heartwarming. Great characters and feel-good pretty much all the way through!
It made me sad that I was too young and involved in trying to know myself to really get to know my grandmother as a person beyond the wonderful, caring matriarch I remember so fondly.
My heart broke at the epilogue. Now I have to pick up a copy for my mom and sister to read.
Sweet book about a matchmaker grandmother in the early 1900s and her granddaughter that is a divorce lawyer in the 1990s.

Top read for me this year!
5 stars
I‘ve been missing my grandma this summer quite a bit -she passed at age 98 and I was lucky to be in my 40s at the time and have her a good long time, but I miss her all the same. This book made me both ache for her and be grateful for her.
Beautiful book. I just loved it.
This book was an absolute GEM! So heartwarming and beautifully written from start to finish. I loved the interlocking timelines between the grandmother and granddaughter, mixing historical fiction with a more contemporary story. It felt like it was written for a Jewish audience (which I am ☺️) so I‘m curious if it would be as enjoyable for readers of other backgrounds. Still, definitely one I‘ll be recommending!!
This mug is so perfect for me- size, picture- my name on the back!! I love it so much! Thank you Lindsey for the thoughtfulness that went into this swap ❤️😘❤️#muglov #muglove2023
Thank you Cindy and Megan for organizing this really fun Valentines Day swap!
Lindsey your wrapping paper was so much fun! I love the book, coffee and bookmark- but the mug is so perfect it is getting its own post 😘 #muglove #muglove2023
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ This book is about “every pot having a lid.” In other words, there is a soulmate for everyone who wants one. It is also about the tenacity women in male dominated professions must have to share their gifts with the world.
Told w: a dual storyline, this book is steeped in romance and hope. If you‘re looking for a heartfelt, engaging, and uplifting read, I recommend this book. Full review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/5139701344
This book was adorable, it celebrates old Jewish tradition and the love between grandmothers and granddaughters. I know, Grandma Sarah would likely nonconcur but the book inspired me to ask Alexa to play the soundtrack of Fiddler on the Roof in the background.
I really liked this book about a grandmother who was a matchmaker in her youth, and her granddaughter who feels as though she might also have “the gift.” Interesting characters and a good writing style. Lots of happy endings and who doesn‘t like that.
A sweet fast read. Lived the history and traditions in this book. A feel good book. 3 🌟
Loved this charming story! Even the chapter headings-samples ⬆️. In 1910, 10 year old Sara discovers she can find people‘s soulmates. Not a proper vocation for a young Jewish girl. So, she tries to keep her gift a secret while helping people to find their true loves. Set in dual timelines: Sara in the early 1900‘s and her granddaughter Abby in 1994. A light, feel good book. Highly recommend this one as an audio read. The narration is delightful.
Review is up! This is a good one y‘all!
