On the day Tess is expecting to receive a new job offer/promotion she, instead, learns she has a sister & grandfather she knew nothing about. Suspenseful mysteries pop up and she finds a new direction in life...oh yeah, and love.
First trip of the season to the apple orchard!!! 🍎🍎
This is a really good story. The character development is in depth, past and present stories of family and romance weaving together to create a great story. The setting is gorgeous. #readwomen #romantsy
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The story of a girl who inherits half an apple orchard. A little predictable, but still an enjoyable read. I've always liked Wiggs style because it's never too complicated but always a good storyline.
Finally, some me-time to try and finish this book before vacation. Armed with a caramel macchiato from Starbucks and the hard-to-come-by silence in a chaotic house full of boys.
I didn't get a lot read today but I found a quote that stuck out in my mind and I felt the need to share.
With all these thundershowers lately, it's been easy to find time to read. I'm about half done this book and there's about 24hrs until vacation. Hopefully I can finish up my reading and then enjoy my holiday with family on the lake.
I'm going to try to squeeze in one more book before leaving on vacation. Susan Wiggs has been another of my favourites for a few years now and I have high expectations for this one. So far, so good.
