THE BRAND NEW NOVEL FROM THE NEW YORK TIMES MILLION-COPY BESTSELLING AUTHOR THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED FOLLOW-UP TO TIKTOK SENSATION THINGS WE NEVER GOT OVER Police Chief Nash Morgan is known for two things: being a good guy and the way his uniform accentuates his rear end. But two bullets put a dent in his Southern charm and now he's facing a criminal still on the loose and a town full of citizens that consider the law more of a 'guideline'. The last thing he needs is the leggy, smart-mouthed Lina Solavita moving in next door, making him feel things he doesn't have the energy to feel. Lina is on a mission. As soon as she gets what she's after, she has no intention of sticking around. The town of Knockemout has other ideas. Soon she finds herself sucked into small-town life. Dog-sitting. Saying yes to a bridesmaid's dress. Listening to the sexy chief of police in the shower. But when Nash discovers Lina's secret these friends become furious enemies - though the sparks flying between them don't know the difference between love and hate.

Late update 2 of 2. Not my favorite of the series, but only because I love the other two more - it's still sexy and solid and hilarious. And the action in this one is probably the best of the bunch! #reread #romcom #contemporaryromance

Characters were fleshed out and I loved how likable every single character was.

Setting is really adorable in this series, I just love this small town.

I think this could have been a bit shorter, because there didn't happen _that_ much.

This still had so many things that I liked, and I really enjoyed reading this.

This was an okay read although I liked it some of the reading was hard to get through because of the negative self talk or really depressive processes

This week has been insane. Current situ: husband watching the kids while I read in the bath with a Starbucks drink in my new holiday cup. Much needed 🩷

Charityann Sounds relaxing! I love the cup.😄 6mo

A long car ride meant for lots of reading and so blew through this book. This small town full of family and friends is a joy to visit. The MMC is dealing with depression and it really struck an honest chord.

Somehow this book was never touched by a copyeditor, but plot wise, no complaints about this trip back to Knockemout! I love the sort of heightened reality this universe occupies, and Nash and Lina had the energy. And all the hints to Lucian and Sloane! I am DYING. #contemporaryromance

Addicted to anything this author writes. This was so amazingly good!! I loved the characters and that the main woman was not the silent type. She was all action and went after what she wanted. This was full of trauma and longing and HEA.

I loved this one almost as much as the first. It was a little bit of a slower burn, but I loved getting to see more about Nash and Lina while still having Knox and Naomi a part of the story. Such a funny, cute and entertaining book. I loved the characters and the storyline and the writing. One of my favorite series definitely.

I‘m torn on recommending this book. I really like the characters, both the featured couple and their friends. I also really like the small town feel and community the author sets up. I like the suspense plot that continues from book one. The big issue that makes me give this a lower rating is the length. This book is WAY too long. There are entire chapters that are unnecessary and sections that are fan service-y that slow down the action.⬇️

Nessavamusic This took me way too long to finish, because it was too easy to put down. I think with edits this could be a favorite. This trend of super long indi romance needs to stop! 3⭐️ 13mo

I find this to be a little slower of a read than the first one… and I don‘t think it‘s because Bella is trying to keep it from me either.

This author has now become an auto buy for me. She crafts quirky characters you're drawn to while at the same time writing with spice and heart. Loved Lina! #bookspin #LittensLoveRomance @TheAromaofBooks

SO excited this one is finally out that I picked this up today … even though I am making myself finish the book I‘m currently reading before I start it! I devoured the first book in 2 days even though it is over 500 pages 📖
