She thought she had her life back. She was wrong. A gripping debut thriller perfect for fans of Natalie D. Richards and Vincent Ralph. It was a mistake to trust him. Shivering and bruised, a teen wakes up on the side of a dirt road with no memory of how she got there-or who she is. A passing officer takes her to the police station, and not long after, a frantic man arrives. He's been searching for her for hours. He has her school ID, her birth certificate, and even family photos. He is her father. Her name is Mary. Or so he says. When Lola slammed the car door and stormed off into the night, Drew thought they just needed some time to cool off. Except Lola disappeared, and the sheriff, his friends, and the whole town are convinced Drew murdered his girlfriend. Forget proving his innocence, he needs to find her before it's too late. The longer Lola is missing, the fewer leads there are to follow...and the more danger they are both are in.

So the plot is good but there didn‘t seem to be any depth to the characters

Wow! Full of twists, this mystery kept my interest. 17 year old Lola is missing. Drew her boyfriend is the main suspect. 5 weeks with no answers and the sheriff impounds Drew‘s vehicle. The longer Lola is missing the more danger to both Lola and Drew. Drew leads the way to finding answers with help from friends, finding clues and following up doing the job of law enforcement. Will they find her before it‘s too late? A fast read 4.75/5

I'm so behind in my goodreads challenge. I've read 31/200 so far this year, so I'm going to try and catch up. So this month I'm going to try and read 50 books.
So far I've read 1/50. The book was That's Not My Name and it was 5/5 stars.

Trying to get back into posting my reads. This is my most recent finish and oh. My. God it was so good! From debut author, Megan Lally this book was intense with its twists and turns. I thought I had the “twist ending” guessed from the synopsis but I was wrong and was gutted by the end. A great YA thriller for those looking for one. #thatsnotmyname #meganlally #thriller #yathriller

A solid YA mystery/thriller that seemed very cut and dry but still had a secret or two to surprise me with. Some aspects were easy to predict but the final twist was 😳🤯! Quick and definitely entertaining. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Bookaholicforlife That final twist gave me whiplash 😂 4mo

This audiobook did not let up! When a teen girl is found injured and with amnesia, her father comes to the police station to claim her, but is he who he says he is?

Saknicole 😍 what are you working on? It is abstract or an image? I love the colors so far! 7mo

Well plotted. Atmospheric and emotionally fraught. This is an easy recommend even though I had a hard time believing certain plot points initially.

2.25⭐
I feel like I read/listened to a different book than everyone else. This fell apart for me early on. Why did I finish it when I had so many issues…I wanted to know if the ending would clear up the inconsistencies that I had with the beginning…and unfortunately, it didn‘t. The narration by Sophie Amoss & Robb Moreira was not where my issues came from. They were good.
