Today is a rough day. Have to say goodbye to my best friend and reading buddy, Lady. She's been in my life for over 15 years. She loved balls and loved to show them to everyone. Everyone and every animal was her best friend. She liked snuggling up in a warm blanket and listening to me read. I'm going to miss her so much, but I know she won't be suffering anymore.

I've decided to get in on this readathon hosted by @Andrew65 . My plan is to finish up the lunar Chronicles. I'm almost done with Cinder. Then Scarlet, Cress, and Winter and Stars Above short stories sprinkled between. Winter and Stars Above will be first time reads. I'm excited to finally finish this series.

This was such a cute story, and it had disability representation in it. There was a reveal I didn't see coming. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series. It felt like a warm hug on a rough day, exactly what my mental health needed.

It's been a crazy week with earthquakes and a storm so I'm just getting to posting my #bookspin #doublespin #bookspinbingo tbr @TheAromaofBooks

I've been cleaning up the mess from the earthquake for days and realized I wasn't getting much rest, and forgetting to eat, or drink water. So I decided that I'm going to take breaks today to read this to my dog. She's doing a lot better since her seizure and we are still waiting for a vet to open up.

Our area had a devastating earthquake. My family was blessed we only have some broken stuff and a shattered fishtank. (Fish still alive) unfortunately when all the power was out my dog had a seizure and I was unable to get her to an emergency vet. Thankfully she's alright and as soon as the vet is back I can take her. But Im just emotional. I also feel so awful for the people displaced from their home. I could use a lighthearted book right now.

I just want to say thank you so much to everyone on here that I've talked to or who has liked my posts and to the hosts of all the readathons and events I've been a part of the last month. I had a really rough two years, and isolated myself so much that it's been hard to get back to being social again even on the internet. And you all made it so much easier.
