Just like I wouldn't want to be a friend of Bosch because people in his life tend to get dead or seriously injured, I also wouldn't want to be too close to Mickey Haller. And I haven't spent much time in courtrooms, but I would be really surprised if they were this dramatic so much of the time. Still, this is a fun story that kept me listening.
This fifth installment in the Lincoln Lawyer series was the first I read . . . over eight years ago. Read my review here: https://debbybrauer.org/#the-gods-of-guilt-mickey-haller-5
Words cannot describe my love for this book. The storytelling was perfect as it connected a tangled web of lies, corruption, and past cases. Connelly has written yet another masterpiece, and the Lincoln Lawyer continues to be my favorite book series
Connelly was on his A-game with this one! Just excellent. And such a dramatic ending! I loved it, as I love all of the Haller books 👌🏽
Another cracking legal thriller from Connelly. I‘m nearly up to date on both his series, just one more Haller.

The Lincoln Lawyer has a new client charged with killing the lawyer‘s past client. As he investigates, he‘s convinced his new client is innocent and government officials are dirty.
Book #6 in the Lincoln Lawyer/Mickey Haller series. Well Mickey is back at it with this one and a client that might truly be innocent. He realizes the depths people will go to deceive and discredit others. A true life lesson and a bit of redemption too.
The last in the Lincoln Lawyer series about defense lawyer Mickey Haller.

I seriously need more Mickey Haller in my life and I really, really hope they introduce him into the show on Amazon. I don‘t care if they bring back Matthew for the role (even though it‘s the only thing I can stand him in).
This book was classic Michael Connelly; full of great one liners. Characters with depth and some surprises. I am still a little upset about one of the developments of the book but I think Connelly sets this one up for another book. Now I have to get a few of the Harry Bosch books...There is nothing like a good crime novel #books #booklover #bookaddict #bookaholic #readers #reading
Started last night because Cleoparta is dragging! Sometimes you just need a good crime novel! #michaelconnelly #lincolnlawyer #books #hollywood #whodunnit #readthis #series
