Saltwater: A Novel | 
so-soRich people behaving badly - that pretty much sums this one up 🤣. There is a good twist towards the end that I didn‘t see coming but other than that this felt very similar to other books where rich people are trying to get away with everything. If you like that sort of book give this one a try! 🌟🌟🌟

pickHoly sugar snaps, Batman!! This was seriously so good. A whole gaggle of extremely unlikable people, set mostly on the island of Capri (which has its own unique and horrific history - I‘m looking at you, Tiberius). Plus, not one, but two ending twists that totally blew my mind. Phew 😅
1. I do carry cash for small transactions. Recently had a Lyft driver who I tipped in cash.
2. Boy does money affect these characters, a group of manipulative liars!

I know it‘s not the best sign when I keep bumping up the playback speed because I‘m ready for the audiobook to be over. I couldn‘t really connect to these characters for some reason, but I liked the Italian atmosphere and was curious enough about the resolution not to bail. The ending was twisty! 🎧
pickDo not miss this book!! This is one gripping murder mystery with so many twists and turns. Great character development, a really good story and what an ending. Not kidding here, this book checks all the boxes. I was up half the night reading it. Thanks @Amor4Libros

pickWell, daaamn!!! I did not expect all the twists this book had in store for me. Probably the most fun read I‘ve encountered this year, so far!
I really think it is best to go into this book as blind as you can and just enjoy the ride!
If you love family dramas with murder and lots of secrets thrown in the mix, PICK THIS ONE UP!

pickOut next year, I received a digital arc from the publisher via NetGalley. This is everything I dislike in a thriller - rich people behaving badly and not a single likable, sympathetic character (no one to root for). The worst part? I couldn‘t put it down. It‘s a well-written tabloid train wreck and I could not turn away from it. I needed answers and I had to see how the drama played out. Kudos to Hays for keeping me hooked!
