Got this from our local Buy Nothing . This edition published when I would have been a year old. These books were the first I read when I arrived in Australia. My teacher had them in a little class library. No school library back then.
I just loved her adventures. Glad to see they are still being published. I will treasure this old copy. It looks, feels and smells old. I look and feel old but I don‘t think I smell old.🫤

These book series scream #nostalgia to me! I absolutely loved and devoured them.

Molly-Molly-Mandy in her pink and white stripped dress, trotting to village fete stalls to buy homemade cakes, having picnics with her friends Susan and Billy Blunt. These delightful stories with charming illustrations of her adventures are a joy to read and my comfort childhood reads. They still have a nostalgic charm.

I remember Milly Molly Mandy landscaping a garden in a saucepan (for the local fair there was a competition for miniature gardens) and well, I've wanted a miniature tree ever since...

So it seemed like fate when I found this yesterday at a market. It's a frosted elm.
