There are other things I could be doing, but after doing #Halloween with three kids, I'm just gonna put my feet up and try to finish this book. Yes, those are candy corn socks. Happy All Hallows Eve, everyone.
Found a bit more time than I thought I would for #24B4Monday #readathon, but I wish I was enjoying the tagged book more. I'm not sure I approve of some of the interactions involving the 12 yr old female protagonists. Also, I picked this book because of a connection to All Hallows Eve, but evidently this is fantasy. I feel a bit tricked.
2 hours, 23 minutes for #24B4Monday #readathon today, which brings my two day total to 3 hours, 2 minutes. I don't expect to get much time tomorrow, but it would be awesome to double it, as my goal is to finish this book by Nov 1st. It's a juvenile novel, so that's doable. I‘m actually loving it a lot more than I expected to. I‘m finding it impossible to put down and might even end up finishing it today. Haven‘t been so addicted to a new release book in ages.
