My daughter & I have only just started to mine this rich seam of animal knowledge. What a fabulous book! As to be expected from Nat Geo, the photos are superb, numerous, vivid & intimate. This book covers a huge range of creatures & has a staggering amount of facts & information. While this is obviously aimed at children, it has enough depth to be of use/interest right up to and including adulthood. Great for homework or just dipping into.

monalyisha My rabbit‘s vet wrote this book! 😍🐰 2y
Sapphire Stacked! To buy for my grand daughter 2y
readingjedi @monalyisha That is a very bizarre but also cool fact! It's a great book. 2y

#NoFemmeber #NonFictionNovember We once owned this beautiful illustrated encyclopedia full of #wildcreatures but sadly it didn‘t make the journey overseas with us. Instead it was donated to our kids old elementary school with hundreds of other books😔

Megabooks That looks beautiful! I‘m sorry you had to part with it. I have a full color, thick dog breed encyclopedia that I won from Royal Canin in vet school that is gorgeous. I have dragged it through 6 moves! I‘m hopeless 🤣🤣🤣 5y
Cinfhen Believe me, hubby & I exchanged some harsh words @Megabooks but the truth was we have no place to store/ display all the books that I had to leave behind. And I was so happy the school took them all!!!!!! But I understand the attachment to certain books and that Encyclopedia you mentioned sounds incredible 🐶🐩🐾❤️ 5y
TrishB 😢 bet you remember every one! Looks like a lovely book. 5y
Cinfhen I‘m sad over all the books @TrishB but I‘m glad they are with kids who will hopefully enjoy them💜 5y
Billypar You set them free in the wild, so to speak 😓 I need to do more culling-I have plenty of books that weren't for me but I think others would like. And I'm starting to get more piles sprouting up in different areas now that my shelves are at capacity 😬 5y

BekahB Very nice start! I love the built-in. 😀 8y
Lizpixie Great choice with the wall colour, it's almost exactly the same as my library. Mine was so small I had to go with bright colours or it would've been too dim. If I had your size to work with I would have gone for dark woods and deep greens & purples.💛💚💜 8y
moranadatter Gorgeous floors! I love the wall color too! 8y
