The Tibetan Sand Fox is a species of fox. It is also called Tibetan Fox and Sand Fox. Since other species of fox are also called Tibetan Fox and Sand Fox, they are called Tibetan Sand Fox to avoid confusion. It's also its most accurate name since most of its population can be found in Tibet. The Tibetan Sand Fox is a medium sized animal. Its head to body measurement is about 24 to 28 inches. Its tail, on the other hand, can measure anywhere from 11 to 16 inches. While its tail is long, it's not as long as its body Tibetan Sand Foxes can be mostly found in Tibet (in China).
