Detective Archie Sheridan just has to get through the next few days, then his birthday and Halloween will be over. But with escaped serial killer Gretchen Lowell on the loose, the investigation into the murder of a DEA agent demanding his attention, and journalist Susan Ward showing up at his apartment needing a favour, it's going to be a long weekend. I love the Archie Sheridan/Gretchen Lowell series and I‘m excited to read this, but super sad for this to be the last book in the series. ☹️

It‘s bitter sweet reading the last book in the Archie Sheridan series. I‘ve put it off for so long because I didn‘t want it to end, but I need to know!!! I‘m about 80 pages in and yet again I am hooked!💔📚

Okay, so the romantic in me was a bit disappointed, but overall, she ended this series with a bang. I would have done some different things, but that's just me. It does not change my love for Chelsea Cain and the wrath she ensued on my heart.

While reorganizing my library several days ago, I discovered I have about 200 mass market paperbacks I have not read. So I've started a personal goal, #MassMarketMonday, in which I will read one of them every Monday. And maybe I'll give some away when I'm done. 😊📚🤘🏻
