pickA beautiful story set in 19th century Egypt, although it was a bit repetitive and could‘ve been maybe a third shorter. Mystery, magic, lies, and secrecy all woven together to weave this gorgeous tale. I don‘t think I like the cliffhanger though. Book #102 in 2025 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

pick#102 of 2020. I loved this book! The story drew me in from the very beginning. I love the characters, specifically Red, Jeran and Talin. This is a dystopian that doesn‘t really break a lot of new ground in that regard, but it is a really good story. Probably one of my favorite books this year. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
