This short Ron Rash (think "Serena") novel comes in at 214 pages. His novels are all set in the area I live in. He is a local and has taught at Clemson University and now at Western Carolina.
pickThis audiobook only took me 1 1/2 days to finish. I keep saying “it was so good” but it was sooo good! The narrator was amazing. The suspense just built up and built up, then the mystery took hold and blew my mind. It reminded me of “And Then There Were None” which was even referenced in the book. pickFinal book of the year, #115. Lovely sonnets to savor alongside dark hot chocolate on a cool night. Especially moving when I think about Elizabeth Barrett Browning's life and relationship with Robert Browning.

pick2017 #115 fantasy audio read by Tim Curry and that alone makes it a good listen. Fun plot and interesting characters. It has been a while since I've read Nix and there is a feel to the story that is similar. Grand and written to the YA audience but well thought out. Quick and fun.
