I think it‘s gonna be more like #12in48 than #24in48, but that‘s ok!

Less than 70 pages to go in this one and I‘m feeling pretty optimistic that I‘ll be able to finish it by tonight.

Joining #12in48 to try to finish up several books I‘m in the middle of, including this one.

It‘s almost over and obviously there‘s no way I‘m getting to 24 but hey I beat my own goal of #12in48 and far exceeded my own expectations! So who knows maybe there‘s a chance I‘ll actually reach 24 next time! How are you guys doing? I know some of you have hit 24! Congrats!

I hit 10+ hours last night then spent an hour lying in bed and reading The Kiss Quotient this morning. So I‘m on track to beating my own goal of #12in48 which is probably the most I‘ve ever done for #24in48 yay me! How‘s your readathon going?

Jess7 This is my first 24 in 48 and It‘s going well. I‘m at 17:30 right now. I think I might really make 24. 🤞🏼🤞🏼 6y
RealLifeReading @jess7 wow that‘s awesome! Go go go!! 6y
awordandawhisper Mine went horribly. I was trying for 12 as well but only managed 3. So now I‘m extra impressed with everyone who‘s still going lol 6y

Ok taking a break to go out for lunch - ramen! 🍜 The husband has been away in Wichita for the past few days so he‘s wanting some Asian food. I haven‘t done too badly this morning. Listening to an audiobook has helped as I made breakfast and doughnuts and cleaned up and did the laundry all while chalking up some minutes. My aim for #24in48 is more like #12in48 😂😂 as it‘s especially hard to read a lot on the weekends. I do more weekday reading!

ElaineHowlin You've had a very productive morning! Audiobooks are so great to listen to during housework. 6y
Andrew65 That‘s a great start! 6y
ofclumsywords I‘m the same way! I read so much better during the week than on the weekend! 6y
toric Im the same with the week day reading. You're doing brill with the audio books though, keep up the good work! 6y

The jacket compared this to Let the Great World Spin so I had to pick it up. The relationships between protesters and police also seems timely and relevant.

Entering hour six of the #24in48 readathon, which may be tuning into the #12in48 for me 😂

Amandajoy Let the Great World Spin is one of my favorites, this may be moving up on my list. 8y
